• New Recycling Schedule:
  Starting May 13th, we will no longer be collecting plastic and Styrofoam in the basement recycling boxes. We are going to be collecting on a quarterly basis and the dates will be announced in advance when to bring in your non-curbside recyclable plastics.

• A New Pastor…
  The Pastor Search Committee has been reviewing Ministerial Profiles and will soon be interviewing candidates for the next Minister of Bridgeport. Please continue to hold the members of the committee in your prayers during this important process.

• Constitution and Bylaws Revisions
  The committee has completed a draft of the revised Constitution which was reviewed by Administry. The committee hopes to present the final draft at the Congregational meeting in June.

• Bridgeport Food Pantry
  Instead of holding food in our own pantry, we are now collecting nonperishable foods on one Sunday of each month and deliver the collected items to a selected local food bank or charity organization. Bring and place your food items under the communion table on the first Sunday of each month. Monetary contributions by check to the individual organizations may be placed in the offering basket. A list of organizations will be available soon.

• Pledge Cards for 2012
  If you didn’t get a chance to fill out a Pledge Card for the year, it’s still not too late! The Finance Team uses this important information for preparing our budget and anticipating our finances for the future. Your pledge will help us meet our needs and maybe even dream a little. A little dream can go a long way in a spirit-filled community like ours.
