Moment in Time
Just a moment in time God made earth
sky, water, trees, flowers
animals, insects and air to breath,
all just a moment in time
Just a moment in time God made the moon
hanging above the earth beautiful and bright
ruler of the seas, light in the night but only
just a moment in time.
Just a moment in time God made the heavens
the milkyway with thousands of stars in its swirl
no one knows how many earths God has created
but then its only a moment of his time.
Just a moment in time, I am here on this earth
wanting to make all my wrongs right and
to bring hope to lonely hearts and have no more
sorrows, and dream dreams of a better tomorrow
but just for a moment in time
Just a moment in time
to take a nap, a walk on the beach
to be underneath a starry sky,
to go skiing, to hold a hand,
to kiss a cheek
to be loved only for a moment in time.
