We are very pleased to have Beth Karp as our pianist and choir accompanist. Beth joined us in June of 2011.
Beth performs 
professionally as a solo and collaborative pianist in a multitude of styles including classical, jazz, improvisatory film accompaniment, and musical theater. In addition to her activities as an accompanist, pianist, and composer, she teaches piano, music theory, and composition at Portland Community College, and has a large flock of piano students at the Multnomah Arts Center and the Music Studio on Harrison Hill. Beth is also an instructor and accompanist at Northwest Children’s Theater.
Beth holds a BA in Music from Cornell University and an MM in Composition from the Longy School of Music. As an east coast transplant, Beth enjoys the mild weather and friendly spirit of the Pacific Northwest. She spends her leisure time kayaking, exploring Portland by bike, and reading.
