Bridgeport: An Interfaith Home
When we took ‘Bridgeport’ as the name of our congregation, we did so with two images in mind: A bridge connects communities and ideas; a port is where you begin a journey, end a journey, or find shelter along the way. These images guide not only our philosophy as an individual congregation, but also our relationships with other communities of faith and support.
Shir Tikvah
We are delighted to share our church building with Shir Tikvah, a liberal Jewish congregation founded in 2002, and led by Rabbi Ariel Stone. Shir Tikvah has services at 6:30 on Friday evenings, along with Saturday Services and Torah Study beginning at 9:00 am.
Facilities Rental
Our building is available for rent at very moderate rates because we feel so blessed to have such a wonderful home. The sanctuary, on the upper level, is wheelchair accessible and all the pews are moveable and can be arrange as needed. The lower level has a large meeting room with tables and chairs available and a spacious kitchen area. Check out our Calendar for times when our space is available. Our rental policies, rates, and application can be downloaded in PDF format below.
